Binary Domain demo released on Japanese PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace

The demo for Ryu ga Gotoku Studio’s upcoming third person shooter Binary Domain has been released to the Japanese PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace for PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 consoles, respectfully. Featuring a selection of training scenarios and two missions – One of which takes place in the Shinjuku Station in the upper city while the other is in Shibuya’s Spain-saka area in the lower city (previously playable in public game conventions). There are also options that allow players to test Binary Domain‘s heavily publicized voice command functionality.

Although the game is mostly action-oriented, a large focus is around communication with squad-mates, which can make the experience more challenging for players if they do not read or speak Japanese.

No English-language demos have been announced, but it is likely they will be released before the title’s February 28th launch. Both trials are just over a gigabyte each.
