The House of the Dead OVERKILL: Extended Cut Announced for PlayStation 3, Features 3DTV and Move Support

May 27, 2011

SEGA today revealed that they are going to release an updated version of The House of the Dead: OVERKILL exclusively for the PlayStation 3, which was originally released in early 2009 on Nintendo’s Wii platform to rave reviews, but weak sales. This new version will feature two new gameplay scenarios, PlayStation Trophies, special controls designed just for the PlayStation Move controller, and support for 3D televisions.

The title will see release in October of this year in North America and European territories. More will be shown off at E3 in less than two weeks.
