Game Gear titles announced for Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console

Update: The first batch of games to be released are Columns, Dragon Crystal Shirani’s Maze, Sonic Triple Trouble (Sonic & Tails 2 in Japan), Sonic Drift 2 and Shinobi (of which you can find a review here),

During their keynote at the Game Developers Conference 2011, Nintendo have revealed that the Nintendo 3DS will have downloadable versions of titles for SEGA’s Game Gear handheld platform this year. No specific games were announced, but many if not all of the twelve Sonic the Hedgehog games are certain to be on there.
